Love your fabulous goal! What a great goal to have if only it wasn’t so hard for me to do.
Why don’t you try easing yourself into it? I couldn’t have my coffee with no sugar in it, so I went from 1 tsp of sugar to 1/2 tsp of honey, then to nothing at all. By being aware of the negative effects sugar has on your body, making substitutes is an easy way of turning sugar-free without having to go cold turkey. A great way of becoming aware is by making a food diary. You’ll notice things that aren’t essential, which you can then cut out and swap for something better. I know that I generally crave something sweet after dinner, so rather than heading for the chocolate I’ve started having a mint tea and a piece of fruit. You can do this! Mind over matter 🙂
Thanks! I use agave sometimes.
